Two buck chuckin' it tpatricco? Or am I confused with Trader Joe's and what they offer?

As surely is apparent by my multitude of posts I've gone past wine into multiple Manhattans.

You'd think since I went to Purdue I'd have a thing for boilermakers, but no. It had to be Manhattans.

Scarlett, it is nice to wake up to everything blanketed in white! Maybe we'll be lucky and it'll come early.

indy...something like that. This was actually Il Valore Sangiovese '03...for a whopping $3.49! We're on the economy at the moment...saving for car repairs, never ending home renovations & a vacation or two too!

Jumping Cow beer?

Never heard of it.

Tipping cows? 'Course who hasn't. All cows deserve 10%. But jumpin'?

Indy, it's nice to have a few cow jokes in here. To represent the rural folks. And the cows too, of course. Cows need to be represented too 3

TG the cows do need a voice especially after my youth.

Paisley, Macadamia, Spike... we named them all. They all went to the abbatoir.

I'm still not a vegetarian, but I prefer to not know my cows these days.

My poison, some blah chardonnay because I didn't want to go out in the cold to buy something decent. Then decided I have some great burgandy but to lazy to open it.

Tomorrow night is going to be a good vodka martini. Happy weekend everyone, whereever you are

You can steal my thunder anytime, Indy. Glad everyone had an enjoyable night and to those of you in the blizzard areas...stay warm! Get out those hot toddies for tonight!

No, I was not out on our new scooter last night with the wind in my hair, unfortunately. Since DH was working late I was rather absorbed in learning all the fabulous features of my new digital camera (he got his toy, I got mine ) I even took movies of the dogs. My drink of choice was bottled water. Don't I just sound like a barrel of fun?

However, I just bought some pinot grigio and plan to make up for that tonight!

When did this thread start and how have I missed it?
Last nights poison was rasberry martini's and oatmeal cookies (it's a drink) My boss took everyone out for dinner and drinks so I tried new stuff. Tonight I'll go back to the ole standard, dirty martini's.

How about a Fodor's GTG here in the "Santa Barbara Wine Country" for all of you Cambria Pinot fans? I will be happy to organize!

Friday night, and dinner is Mustard Shrimp deep fried and washed down with Sazeracs from my new favorite eatery: Howe's Bayou in Fabulous Ferndale, Michigan!

Like Paul and like always, I'm dreaming of our next trip to the tropics - this time to St. John in May. Especially appealing now, after shoveling snow for two hours...

Continuing in the tropical vein, Mojitos are my current passion.

My poison for the past 24 hours has been green tea, Cold-Eeze, Zicam, and Advil Cold & Sinus.

In 8 days I'm going to Turks & Caicos so I need to do all I can to get better in time...

(The worst part is, there goes my pre-beach exercise program! Ah well, at least I'll be warm in a week.)

I am new to the US thread, I have never seen Statia's post. I love this. Broke my resolution to drink more water for Cuba Libres, which I am sipping optimistically through our first snow storm of the year.

For late a south australian chardonnay (new to me) and my fave portuguese tinto, its peppery tones are great with spicy sauces or dark chocolate (Miss Scarlett!).

Indytravel - you are killing me! Paisley, Macadamia & Spike? Great names! It reminds me of those old songs that reel off the train station stops. By the way I think it's Vita-Meta-Vegamin. Do you pop out at parties?

Missed this last night, no computer- too busy rearranging snow drifts.

No wine tonight. Friends, fire, and an apple martini or two. Later after dinner, hot coffee with Baileys.

Next month the Caribbean, and hope we get the runways clear by then. I have friends who were coming back from Arizona tonight. I think not.

I have never had Baileys with coffee. Always with hot chocalate. Do you just use it instead of cream????

Honest! Jumping Cow is the name of the beer.

In two and a half weeks I will be drinking Singha in Bangkok.
