What Island should we visit Besides Kauai?
My husband and I are going to Kauai for 5 days then to another island. We have been to Maui 2x and are considering going elsewhere this time. Does anyone have recommendations on island and where to stay?

Mid 30's no children. Any feedack would be greatly appreciated.
We are going in early October.
We like to combine activity with relaxation.
We are not big on the city. Probably would shy away from Waikiki and Honolulu.
Molokai and the Molokai Ranch. The island is not very crowded and they have some good activities.

Avoid the Big Island if you have allergies or asthma problems. Many people with breathing problems wind up at the hospital due to the heavy ash in the air.

With your preferences in mind, I think you would be most happy on the Big Island - stay in the Kohala coast area. There are quite a few wonderful hotels as well as condos. We stayed at Mauna Lani Point a few years ago and the grounds were beautiful and our unit had a lovely oceanview beyond the golf course. There are quite a few lovely beaches and a peaceful, serene atmosphere is found on the BI that is second only to Kauai IMHO.

I agree with Molokai - Hawaii as it was - very quiet - Don't miss the overlook to Kalaupapa, if not the mule ride down - Magnificent! Also, don't miss the Great Kite Factory on the West side of the Island
Aloha, Debbie
