In Newport: Touro Synagogue is the first Synagogue established in the U.S. The White Horse Tavern is one of the oldest restaurants in the country. The afore-mentioned Tennis Hall of Fame Salve Regina University - in the news today because of a dorm fire. Some of its buildings are converted Newport Mansions. |

Go to Brad's near Providence College and have a cheeseburger and a cheap beer. That's what I did most of my days in Providence! Okay I went to Caserta's too and I added vodka to my Del's. And don't forget Haven Brothers at midnight for a grinder. Spent a little time at the Newport Creamery on Smith Ave too.
