What is the seating capacity for Radio City Music Hall in NYC?
We attended the Rockettes' last Christmas show Sunday January 2 which was our first time to Radio City Music Hall. I was amazed at the vastness of the theater, and asked the usher how many people does Radio City Music Hall seat? The usher said 6,000 people, but when the orchestra plays in the "pit" for the Rockettes, capacity is reduced to about 5,900. Does 5,900 sound correct, or was the usher just guessing?
