I am so happy you ladies agree with me about the Donald's do. Men look much better bald then combing strands over.
Money does not buy taste.

Rant:
The "New Year Resolution" crowd at the gym. They never last longer than 3 or 4 weeks, but take up EVERY treadmill in the meantime.

Rave:
I just had a 3D ultrasound done (6.5 months preggo) and it rocked!

Rant: My Dad is taking a new heart medication and is feeling too tired all the time to go to Europe and BeNeLux with me this spring. His doctor keeps telling him the side-effect will lessen. I keep thinking his doctor wants him to get used to being tired all the time. :-<

Rave: I'm still going to go. I'll hit France by myself instead. I think I'll go mostly to Lyon where I took him last year so he won't feel like he's missing so much.

wemr. I'm laughing so hard. I saw a bit of that show last night and thought the same thing. It gives "combover" a whole new meaning. Is he bald under there and trying to pretend he isn't or what?

Of course he's bald, Patrick! There is no other logical reason a man would do that to himself! Lol-not that there's anything wrong with that

Ani, hubby was just saying the same thing about the recent invasion at his gym!

My rant is two fold:
1. Hubby has been working his tail off this week and there's nothing I can do to help, wish I could
2. George W. wants to spend multi-millions and send people to Mars while there are still people living on the street and so many living below the poverty level. Not to mention how we could better serve our Vets?

Rave: My parents new puppy ((&))

Rant: Just came back from Thailand 2 days ago, to snow, which Vancouver normally manages to avoid.

Rave: My tan looks even better when I stand next to a snowbank!!!

Could that bad hair on the Donald be *gasp* a rug? Speaking of rugs, I was watching Dan Blather on the evening news one night and his hair was listing portside. Break for commercials and it was straight.

Rant-My Vet bills.
Rave-Planning my vacation on a sunny beach.

Maybe it is like the emperor's new clothes story. Trump is convinced he looks good and nobody dare contradict him even if he does look like an ass.

razzledazzle, did that TV die of natural causes two days before Christmas? I would have had an autopsy done. \/

Rant: rain rain rain rain rain here in no. CA. I guess I should be happy it's not snow, sleet and ice.

Rant: Still 2 whole months until the new Sopranos season begins Mar 7.

Rant: Why has The Wire not been recognized as one of the best shows on tv, in the same league as The Sopranos and Six Feet Under?

Rave: Peets coffee, a good book, 2 sweet cats, and fodors for keeping me amused in this unending drizzle.

I'm glad this forum is back--it's fun.

I enjoyed "The Apprentice", but agree about the hair!!! (and notice the ever younger girlfriend)
Big Rave: I love this forum and the laughs I get sometimes.

Sorry, Indytravl about your Dad. Maybe in a few months he'll be used to the med and be able to go on the trip.

Rave: Planning a trip to Germany and Switz with friends.

Rant: also dismayed about the Mars landings with the money so needed to those of us who wish to stay on earth--with Medicare and healthcare budgets being cut daily.

Libya, Saudi Arabia, and Iran are waking up on Iraq while they abanodon weapon plans and favor a democratic form of government.

God bless our troops while they push for global freedom.

Don't you mean being pushed Aahnold?

Where is the freedom for the 1325 American service men and womaen who gave their lives and the more than 12,000 maimed and wounded? And how many innocent Iraqi civilians who we don't hear about have been been killed?.
