Rant #1 - men who equate a loud voice with a more intelligent opinion (yes, I've just come back from a meeting and now fully understand the sentiment behind "go postal")

Rant #2 - January blahs

Rave - my sweetie made me a lovely large latte to take in to work this morning!!!

Rant - Staying up until 4:30 a.m. like an idiot when I had to be at work at 8:00 a.m. this morning.

Rave - Thank God it's Friday since I was stupid enough to do that.

TGIF and just veggin' out tonight with a big pizza and watching hotties Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in Pirates. :) :)

Rant: My husband and I both love our parents, but we don't understand why his father and my mother never put their seat belts on until AFTER they start driving! The first 30 seconds of the drive is always weave and bob down the street while they buckle up; fortunately, both sets of parents live on quiet streets with little traffic ;-) Why do people do this?!?

Rave: had lunch today at a wonderful new restaurant that opened a 5-minute walk from home.

I needed the plumber today, Last week the heat and hot water went! As Rosannadanna said: "It's always something."

Rant: This drizzly friggin rain and cold weather.

Rave: Fran Drescher is off the tube!

Rave: My husbands funny sayings. Some examples.

The Learing Channel(TLC)= Ugly People TV

Large People At Walmart= Snack Waddlers

Rant: The sliding door on my closet keeps falling off no matter what I do. Time to get a new door. Ugh.

Rant: It's freaking cold here in NYC and we're expecting a high of 18 tomorrow. Oh joy!

Rant: Another reality show has popped up with now Donald Trump. Why are we being subjected to this trash?

Rant: People who feel the need to talk so loudly on their cell phones that everyone within a block radius can hear their conversation. (Even worse on a bus or train!)

Rant: Just returned a cell phone I bought last week for $550.00. The sales guy tells me it's now $99.00 (Don't believe me? Check the SX56 on the AT&T website because I didn't believe it either!)

Rave: My friend since 3rd grade moved back to NY today after living in Ft. Lauderdale.

Rave: Having enough fun planning my trips for 2004. LOL

Rave: My bosses are off at a convention in Vegas.

Rave: The days are getting longer...even if it only seems slightly!

Rave: It is Friday after all!!

And with all his money, why doesn't the Donald do something with that awful hair???????

Rant: It's going to get down to 0 tonight here in mid-Michigan.

Rave: By the time my boss gets back from his vacation next week, I'll be in Florida defrosting.

Is Donald's hair a comb over or is it a horrible do?

Why does Donald look like a fish?

Rant: I am not sure about these "new" tapa/appetizer size dinners...can you say: I'll take three entree's($)...

Rant: When oh when will this dry, hacking, annoying chest cough GO THE HECK AWAY??? I've never had a flu linger this long.....Rant and DOUBLE rant.

Rant: Yeah, who cares about a bunch of 20 something, yuppies with TV perfect faces have to bark like a dog to get a job that will earn more in 1 year then I will in 3! And I agree Donald, whats up with that hair!

Rave: It's Friday and all the bills are paid.. barely....

Rave: 179 working days until vacation.. (well only kind of a rave...)

Heyyyyy! Oaktown Traveler! Haven't seen you in ages! Welcome back!

Rant: I am going to quit smoking next Friday and I'm dreading it.

Rant: Its cold here

Rave: I am going to quit smoking in the hopes of having a baby.

Rave: I liked the Apprentice too.
What is up with his hair???

rant: I got so caught up with work today I didn't get time to start my Freaky Friday thread. :'(

rave: The work I did this morning was a real boost to my business. Yahoooo. \:D/

Rave: Our monthly social security payment just increased.

Rant: So did the medicare deductions.

Rant: It's so frigid here with little flakes of snow coming down that I hardly want to put on my exercise clothing and go for a workout! Too cold!

Rave: My parents have an extra bedroom for us in their Naples condo, so I have a good reason to work out in the first place, so I can keep fitting into my swimsuit!

Rave: It's NOT too cold today. I'm ready to go out to eat with friends.

Rant: I feel obligated to keep my new year resolutions at least until the end of this month.

You guys have me LOL, and Go Travel, you are on a roll--love your husbands sayings!

Agreed Rant: Iceburg lettuce...period!

Rant: When are the friggin' hormones going to stop keeping me awake at night, and to think, this has years to go, YOY!

Rant: Unions and my union workers (sorry if I've offended anyone here, but the story is just too long to tell)

Rant: 5# that won't budge

Rant: It's cold

Rave: It's warmer tonight than it will be tomorrow, so I just finished an 8-mile run....yippee, now I can stay indoors and clean tomorrow :)

Neither rant nor rave: And I thought it was just me that noticed the Donald's horrendous "do". Is it a taupe? Bad dye job? Comb over? With his money, you think his stylist would push him in another hair direction, but yes, I actually liked The Apprentice, too.
