The title says it all. Please enlighten me as to what the frequent postings containing nothing but "ttt" mean.

to the top........bring the message to the top for more replies!

"To the top"! People do that when they don't want to comment, they just want the post moved to the top of the list for a variety of reasons, so rather than posting nothing, they post "ttt".

Who has time to type out the whole phrase anyways??

sometimes a question doesn't get the response that the original poster or another fodorite deems adequate and so they bump the question ttt.

Sends the topic back "to the top" of the list. Sometimes will be referred to as "bttt" as well.
