What does this mean?

The hotel I will be staying at states that there are robes in the rooms. Are these for you to use so that you do not have to pack them? (I don't get out much)

Nan Jun 23rd, 2000 06:20 AM

Yes, they are supplied so that you don't have to bring one; they're usually a pretty thick terrycloth, and if you leave with one, you'll be charged as much as $80.

Yes.

They mean bathrobes. Terrycloth robes to wear when you get out of the shower.

If they have robs, they're sure to have washcloths too.

Yes, that's exactly what it means. Many better hotels provide nice cotton robes for their guests to use while there. They are also usually available for purchase in the gift shop ($$$) in case you decide you love them so much you want to take them home with you.
