I live in San Francisco and own a car that I rarely drive. There is a car share company in the city that I might consider joining in the future. Parking can be a hassle at times...I park on the street in a very nice neighborhood. If I get in too late to find a spot on the street, I will use the garage which can get pricey. Renting a parking spot in my neighborhood costs $200. I have to admit, I would feel naked without a car, though.
