What did I miss - what is with the recipe thing?
Has this board merged with some Food Network board - I usually understand the inside jokes, but this has me stumped.

I was thinking the same thing but didn't want to start something.

It really has gotten a bit off travel as a topic. Now mind you, I myself have been known to throw a Q in to get some discussion going on a quiet day so I didn't want to be accused of being critical of something I do too.

And then there is always...the right not to click on a topic that you aren't interested in.

And my computer has been acting up -- on here and in general. Full moon??

Glad it's not just me. Fodorville has been a little wacky since the terrorist threat. Maybe we are all a little more anxious about travel right now than we let on. :-?

BTW, while we're off topic, what about the JonBenet Ramsey case and the arrest that was made? Doesn't it figure after all the hell those parents went through, and the wife's recent death, that now they'd solve the case and clear the parents?! The father said the wife knew about this recent turn of events prior to her death.

SB, I'm so glad to see your mention that Patti Ramsay knew about this before she died. The first thing that came to my mind when I heard the news was how sad it was that this happened after her death.

Who is reading those threads?!?! They are VERY loosely travel related. "Real" Fodorites - stay away!!! Those threads will corrupt Fodorville.

I am especially fond of the recipe on how to boil water.

All I know is that I stumbled on the key lime pie recipe the other day while researching a trip. I made it for my wife's birthday yesterday. She loved it and so did I.

Love the recipes! How about a separate board named "Food for Fodorites" or something similarly alliterative? Then all our fave recipes would be in a central place instead of scattered over the various boards. FlyerTalk has a recipe board.
