I am from Madrid and in Spain you usually can not wear jeans when you go into a casino.
Is it possible in Las Vegas to wear jeans and shirts?
Thanks

I think the preferred outfit for women is white strech pants, at least 1 size too small, sneakers, and polyester floral top, sleeveless. For men, black socks, sandals, shorts (belt below the stomach), and Hawaiian patterned top.
Have fun.

You'll see a little bit of everything in Vegas. Most people IMO look like they are on a disney vacation (t-shirt, shorts, tennis shoes.) But some people do dress up, usually to go to a show or a nice resaurant or for a night club. I love to dress up, I have a closet with several "Vegas only clothes."

It depends on which casino, if you want to go into a restaurant. For example, my husband in jeans would of been allowed into one at the Wynn (forgot the name/ looked fairly casual). But my son in law in shorts wasn't allowed. Most of the city is very casual. If you are coming in summer, remember it is in the desert and very hot!

You will be fine in jeans during the day in the casinos. If you plan on going to an upscale restaurant at night you will have to dress up. Many of the upscale restaurants require a jacket, however in the summer months when the temps are over 100 at night a nice shirt and pants are ok. I only know this because this is what we were told when we dined at Picasso last July.

In casinos everything but a swimsuit.
In restaurants - most of them anything. A few more upscale places will expect you to be a little presentable - but never suit or female equivalent.
(And yes - this explains why you see so many oddly dressd Americans in Spain - to many people if it's good enough to wear in the backyard - it enough for anything except a wedding or funeral.)

In some places they also require to have shoes on (as opposed to being barefoot) - and I am serious!
Casino is not a formal place at all in Las Vegas! If you see people dressed nicely, it means they are on their way to/from a nice restaurant or some formal event.
