Hi,
Does anyone know if anyone rents 1 bedrm condos at Whalers Cove? Thank You!

There are really no 1 bedroom condos at Whalers Cove. They are 2 or more. Though some rental places rent as though it only has 1 bedroom it's actually the rate for using 1 of the 2 bedrooms. Whatever. We used Suite Paradise and they were great. There is also Kauai Rentals that rents a first floor unit in building 1. We stayed upstairs from this one in unit 123 (building 1, second floor, unit 3). Here's a link:

It's hard to find a deal on Whalers Cove but we had a fantastic time. Our lanai was enormous.

You can book 1 bedroom units through Premier Properties, which handles a good portion of the units. I just tried. As Suzie said, it is basically a two bedroom unit with one room locked off for a little less money.

Try this site and go to one bedroom units and then to unit 113.

Terrific! You'll love it. We took an ice chest with us so we could take drinks to the pool with us but you, being on the ground floor and easy access to the pool, wouldn't have to do that!

Nice one. I'd love to hear how 113 was, as it has been on a short list of mine for some time. I've checked availability on it periodically and it is usually rented for long blocks of time. You're right. It is a good price.
