Westin St Francis
 

Will be staying at the Westin St. Francis in SFO this fall on points. I am aware that there are two buildings, an older one and a newer highrise. Which should I request?

I like the authentic rooms and views from the old building. Neat fixtures, windows that open out and nice old marble. Just my taste.

I also favor the older part, but you can't go wrong w/that hotel.

I stayed in the old part a few years ago. The bed was the best--down pillows and comforter, but the beds are probably the same in both areas. My room was in a corner 9no view) bjut very quiet.

When I stayed at the St. Francis I was put in a room at the back on a light well, so be sure to specify, if you ask for the original section, that you want a room with a view.
