Westin, Maui
 

Has anyone stayed at the Westin in Maui with the $749 Promotion. We are going in August, and I hope the rooms are not a nightmare.

I've booked it as well, for March 2006. Haven't been to this hotel before, but we traveled to Kauai a few years ago on a similar deal, and it was fabulous. We've also had this type of deal at a great resort in Phoenix and one in Florida. Always a good experience. Once there, we were not treated any differently from any other guests. These promotions are to get you to come so you come back and recommend to others at their regular prices, so they do not want to turn you off. The point is to grab you and draw you in. Whenever I get one of these deals I take it. We've had GREAT luck with them.

Really good friend of mine just got back from this and they said they had a great time. They are accumstomed to going to Kauai for two weeks at a time so 5 nights on Maui seemd short to them. They said everything was nice.

I had taken advantage of a similar promotion from the Marriott Ocean Club and I thought that was a nice time too.

The deal is too good to be true. I will let you know after our trip how it was.

We just got back from Maui and our friends stayed at the Westin in a "mountain view room" on some sort of package. It was far from a nightmare....they had a beautiful, clean room and enjoyed excellent service. In my opinion, the Westin was one of the nicest hotels in Ka'anapali.
