Westin Copley Vs. Sheraton Copley
My husband and I have 1 free night to spend at either the Westin Copley Place or the Sheraton Copley. We know they are in the same area, but I was wondering if anyone has any input on which one is better.
I can't comment on the Sheraton, but I have stayed at the Westin Copley Place, and was very pleased with it.
We had a river view room on the top floor, which was amazing, and the room service food was the best I've had anywhere (although I don't generally order room service). As you already know, the location for either hotel is great.

the westin is a much nicer property and better located (although both locations are similar) the westin is a little closer to Copley....go with the westin and eat at Olives in Charlestown. and get a carnitas burrito at annas taqueria in brookline.

I have stayed in both- Sheraton Feb of 2001 and the Westin this June. I found the Westin to be a nicer property, better rooms, heavenly bed, heavenly shower, etc. I also like the location much better.
I have stayed at both. The Westin is better, IMHO. It is connected to upscale shops such as Neiman Marcus, etc. The heavenly beds are wonderful. Both hotels are in a good location for downtown Boston- Newberry Street, Commonwealth Ave, but the Westin has the edge.

No question. STay at the WEstin. THe restaurant there called Fullers has the best Fish Stew in town (can't spell the French word for fish stew). I personally checked out the fish stew at every restaurant I went to during a week's stay there last Feb. Another not to miss Restaurant is Hamersley's Bistro.
