West Side of Grand Tetons

I am planning a trip to southern Utah next May and was thinking about going through the Grand Tetons either on the way out their or the way home. I'd like to take two different routes to see different areas. I'm wondering if the views on the west side are worthwhile exploring or should I just drive straight down into Utah. Can the mountains be seen on the Idaho side? Thanks for any input.

Where's home? Driving your own car? The drive east from Rexburg ID through Driggs to Jackson WY should have some great views of the west side of the mountains. Have you seen Yellowstone before? More details please!

I live in Wisconsin so I'm looking at going across SD, WY, and then down into Utah. Yes, my own car or a rental from near home. I was out to Yellowstone in 2010 so I don't think I'm going to venture up there this trip. Just looking at using this route as option as opposed to driving I-70 across Colorado both ways.

Try I-80 all the way to SLC then I-15 north to Idaho Falls and US20 through Rexburg to go through Driggs to Jackson WY.
Which National Parks in Utah do you want to visit?
For Arches and Canyonlands you turn off I-15 at Spanish Fork. For the others (Bryce, Zion, Capitol Reef and route 12) you will go through Cedar City.
Get your America the Beautiful Pass at the first National Park entrance you come to.

It is called the Teton Valley,,,Driggs and Victor. And it is a beautiful place. I love the tetons from that side, though they are not quite as dramatic as from the East.

That being said I'm not sure that is on the way to or from anywhere except Jackson.

Bozeman to West Yellowstone, to Ashton to Victor would be a very scenic drive if you have the time. You can cut back over to Idaho Falls from there or go south to Evanston.
