West Palm Beach with kids
 

Will be leaving for West Palm Beach shortly with my 8 and 15 year old daughters. Any suggestions for things to do??? Like to limit travel time to 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

Go to Butterfly World in Coconut Creek. (Maybe 30 minutes from West Palm)It's just west of I-95 and Sample Road, and it is a very cool and unique place to be, for all ages! Have fun!

There is also a wildlife park with lions and such, the hotel will have info on it I'm sure. My daughter is 18 now but we've made the trip several times since about age 12 and she LOVES Miami - especially Miami Beach. Just walking and shopping and eating. It is not a bad drive.

Thanks for the info. Butterfly world sounds great. We've been to lion country on our last visit to West Palm Beach years ago. Anyone know of any amusement/water parks close by????

Not sure when you'll be here, but the Rapids Waterpark will be re-opening on March 20th for Spring Break. Have fun!
