West GC is it worth it?

For a 2 day trip from Vegas, is it worth going to Grand Canyon West and the Hualapai Market and Ranch (not interested in Sky walk) or is the South Rim enough. Also, is overnight in Williams OK (much cheaper) or is it really worth the money to be closer. Young couple with baby. thanks

If you are doing the South Rim, I'd skip the West Rim too. Overnighting at the South Rim is great, but it's just fine to stay outside the park and drive in for a day at the rim.

thanks. I was just wondering if the Indian reservation part of the West GC was worth it, or can you see similar things near the South Rim too or around Vegas?

I haven't been to the West Rim, so can't address that part of your question, but I definitely feel it is worth it to stay at the rim if possible. Depending on when you are going, parking may be difficult if you aren't a guest. Finally, it makes it possible to get up early and experience the sunrise over the canyon without much hassle.

Has anyone been to the West Rim? I've been to the South Rim twice and while in Las Vegas in June I was thinking of going to the West Rim and and staying overnight and taking their helicopter tour. Any thoughts?
