Were to go in March with 19 yr old

My daughter wants to go someplace for her Spring Break early March. Any recommendations. Looking for something relaxing and not to expensive. We will have to fly as we are from Minnesota & want to escape.
Thank you. We were thinking of Texas, California, Arizona, California - or ??

Your post is kinda vague. What do you like? The beach? Nice restaurants? History? Museums? Getting out in nature?

Fly into Phoenix and go to Sedona. Or fly into Alb, NM and go to Santa Fe.

Well, since you mentioned Texas, I' surprised xbt hasn't checked in yet.

I would second Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Or, if you decide on Arizona, Either the Phoenix area (large city) or Tucson (smaller city with lots of outdoor activities would be fine also.

If you like to shop, I have a suggestion. Two years ago, my daughter and I spent her spring break in Santa Monica. We had a great time. Hotels aren't cheap but less expensive than summer. We stayed at the Georgian Hotel (breakfast on their porch overlooking the ocean!), walking distance to the SM Promenade (streets full of stores and restaurants) and the SM Pier. We explored Venice Beach (wouldn't stay there), had 2 celebrity sightings, and almost attended a live TV taping (got there too late).
Had so much fun, thinking of going back this year.

San Antonio, TX is lots of fun. I know that there are many threads related to it.
