The week length one, it was $22- was the ticket for us, literally, for the Metro. It worked PERFECTLY.

I was going to buy the other one which allowed for more distance and rush hour traipsing, but a conducter I asked convinced me that the week long $22 one was better. And he was right.

Regardless of schedule and even if you are not going to take the Metro every single day or more than twice a day- take that one. Even going past Alexandria and during one rush hour we never had to pay the extra surcharge, it was sufficient.

Myownheroine, I was at the Natural History museum two weeks ago and practically had the place to myself from 5 to 7. Apparently a lot of people either don't know it's open late in the summer, or they're starving for their dinner at that hour, but either way it was wonderful for me!
