Weekend in Boston
 

My husband and I will be in Boston for one weekend. Does anyone have any good ideas? Have all ready done the "touristy" things... looking for something different!

Stroll the shops on Charles Street and wander Beacon Hill. Take the high speed catamaran (sp?) to Provincetown for a day or half a day. Go to Cambridge and walk around Harvard Square or Central Square. Look at the weekend section of the Bosotn Globe - published on Thursday - and check out what's happening around town on the weekend. Go out to Lexington and Concord and see some historic houses and museums and Walden Pond.

Try a stroll and dinner in the North End, or sailing on the Charles. If you're a baseball fan, you could also take in a Red Sox game.

Yuck. Although 1.5 hours to the north, try Portland, Maine. Much, much nicer.

What about the North End culinery tour? Also, Mama Mia is coming mid-Aug. Other Boston theatre favs: Blue Man Group and Shear Madness.
