I HAVE BEEN LOOKING ON THE WEB FOR WEEKEND GETAWAYS DESTINATIONS. tHE INTERNET DOES NOT PROVIDE THAT MUCH INFO. I WOULD LIKE TO BE NEAR A BEACH, PORT, AND A LITTLE OF A NIGHTLIFE. TRAVELING FROM NYC.

How about Newport, RI? <BR>Or Annapolis, MD?

I WAS THINKING ABOUT NEW PORT, RI . I WAS NOT SURE WHAT THE TRAVEL DISTANCE WAS FROM NYC. I WANTED TO HAVE A MAXIMUM OF A THREE HOUR TRAVEL SPACE, BEING THAT WE MAY LEAVE AT 5:00PM ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. THANK YOU FOR THE SUGGESTION, I WILL LOOK INTO SOME LODGING ACCOMODATIONS!

Been to Newport lots of times. The mansions are great to see if you like that sort of sight seeing. On your way, you might want to stop in Mystic for a bite to eat. "Mystic Pizza" is there along with some nice little restaurants. About 20 minutes past Mystic is Foxwood. Maybe stay there one night for some gaming and a show. Newport is less than an hour from there.
