Weekend Getaway Leaving From PA
 

Any suggestions for a weekend getaway leaving from Reading, Pa area? We have a baby on the way and I'd like to get in one more mini-trip before he/she arrives. Keep in mind we would be traveling in winter. We've already been to Baltimore, so that's out.

My daughter just returned from a trip to New York and one excursion they went on was to somewhere in PA where there were beautiful waterfalls. Maybe you know where this is.
Is there somewhere nearby where there's a bed and breakfast or a lovely hotel? That also might be the ticket.

Sort of depends on your interests, since there's a lot to do within a day's drive of Reading. Have you considered New Hope? Might be a nice, quiet getaway at one of the B&Bs.

Consider Cape May. It's a romantic victorian town. They have great restaurants and beautiful B&B's. They will be priced reasonably this time of year. We prefer the Fairthorne. The Emma Kate suite.
