From Memorial Day to Labor Day it is hot and humid here in Charlottesville. But it is hot and humid everywhere in the south in the summer. You'll want to spend some time at Mr. Jefferson's Univeristy (UVA). You can add a third presidential home to your visit. Montpelier(Madison's home) is in Orange, VA just 30 minutes from Charlottesville. There is also the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library and boyhood home 30 minutes to the west in Staunton.
