weekend drive
 

My wife and I want to take a drive for the Fathers Day weekend. We live in Long Island, New York and just need to get away..We enjoy dooing most everything together. We want it a weekend to remember and possibly repeat it again..Anyone have any suggestions. All are welcome,,thanks Bobby

How about a weekend in the Berkshires, somewhere like Cranwell resort in Lenox.

I agree about the Berkshires, lots to do, not a bad drive. Don't care for Cranwell personally but a wide range of lodging. But book now.

We stayed here and it was quite nice. Nothing fancy but super clean and great breakfast.

Closer to home would be the Hudson Valley. It is so beautiful. Here's a link to my thread from our visit in 2012.
