Week of May 18 something going on
 

I was wondering if anyone knows about any thing going on in VEGAS the week of May 18 cause the rates seem ridiculas. <BR>Any information would be great.<BR>

yep..the ICSC convention is happening that week. Int'l Council of Shopping Centers or something like that. It sounds hokey, but it's not. It's anyone that deals with buying and leasing retail land/centers. So it's lots of people with lots of money. <BR><BR>My husband is in the biz so he's going and I'm tagging along. We tried to find something with lower rates and settled for the Flamingo. They are cheaper deals out there, but they require some soul searching on your part ;)<BR><BR>If you can put your trip off a week I would recommend it if you are trying to find decent rates.<BR><BR>good luck.<BR>snarla

Put it off another week and you're into a HUGE wholesale only jewelry convention that is already sold out.

I'm going May 9-13th (fri-tues) and the rates were very good on a Southwest Airlines package.
