Week in Tennessee
 

Flying into Nashville mid October. We (2 of us) have just one week. Main interests are whiskey, fall colors and history. Please suggest some must-sees/dos. We want to go back to Kentucky for a bit a bourbon

Fall colors- drive through Warner Park right outside west Nashville. History- Bellemeade Mansion and the Hermitage

Downtown Nashville has a nice free museum, the Tennessee State Museum

Outskirts of Nashville have The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson's plantation.

You might want to take a trip to Jack Daniels distillery while in Tennessee. Also, check and see if you can eat at Miss Mary Bobo's if you go to Jack Daniels. You will need reservations.

I have never been, but nearby also is the George Dickel distillery and they also have tours.
