wedding location

HELP! My daughter just informed us she is getting married after her husband gets out of bootcamp. Looking for a scenic, serene, natural location with a lake and reception capabilities. Thanks!

Can you narrow the location down to any particular region of the U.S.?

Is it just the two of them and a minister or are you thinking of hundreds of attendees traveling to the site?

And what month will this be?

This is a little open ended. Since it is tagged to Colorado, I assume that is what you are looking for. The mountains are full of what are called, "Wedding Palaces." Places devote to hosting wedding as you described. I would do some goggle searches around that subject. e have attended several but no idea of the individual names.

how about the family church or temple?

I don't think that was the question. The family church or temple is probably not located in a " scenic, serene, natural location with a lake and reception capabilities" or else the question would not have been asked.

The nephew of some friends just married at Red Rocks. I think they had the grocery/store there do some food. This isn't the amphitheater, and I'm sorry, that's all I know.
They said the view was stunning, which is true of that area.
How many are coming?

Does anyone ever bother to check the dates of the posting. Since the original question was posted in 2008. I am sure the wedding is over. Maybe divorced and on to the second marriage with two kids. Who knows?

And allemark is just slipping an advertisement for a web site.

fmpden, I would love for the editors to include the posting date with the listing, not just the most recent response.

Mea Culpa again. It was just that I had just heard about that place!!
