Wedding in Vegas
 

Am planning a last minute wedding in Vegas. After searching resources, have decided to stay at Treasure Island; be married at Little Church of the West; small wedding cake from Freed's.
Have no clue as to have the wedding dinner. A small intimate wedding with a few family members and my 9 year old daughter. Am on a modest budget, but want it to be as nice as possible. ANY COMMENTS ON OUR CHOICES, or suggestions for a lovely, but not terribly expensive place for dinner? PLEASE HELP ME, I don't plan on doing this again. Fancy

Well not too helpful for the food..I would say Paris has a wonderful bistro or around the corner for a more relaxed atmosphere is Battistas Italian which has been there for year. There is also Roy's down Flamingo Road. Very nice place and not overly $$$$$. Good bet staying at TI as we just went there and had a great time and was thrilled with our room (Tower Suite) congrats and good luck in marriage!

Thanks for the suggestions. The Bistro at Paris and Roy's sound interesing. Any dinner shows appropriate for a nine year old? With good food?

Mon Ami Gabi at PAris would be good. I would agree. Good atmosphere and great view of BEllagio fountains at night.

My nephew was married in Las Vegas three years ago. When my sister got to Vegas (a couple of days before the wedding) she went to Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris hotel and told them she had a wedding party of about 25 people and what could they arrange for her. They put together a very nice dinner with salad, entree and dessert for a pretty reasonable price (I can't remember exactly). Drinks, of course, were extra. The setting was lovely and the dinner was fabulous.

I highly recommend Mon Ami Gabi!

Freed's is great, used them 2X's for wedding cakes. What exactly is your budget for dinner?

My dinner budget would be not more than $35-$50 per person, which should allow for a glass of wine each. Of course, this would not include dessert.

The above suggestions are good. I thik Mon Ami Gabi may be the winner. Then there's Morton's steakhouse, Rosemary's, plenty of choices across the street at the Venetian and the forum at Caesar's Palace, and Caesar's Palace itself - the Asian restaurants are excellent. My dad's stayed at the TI 2 times and enjoyed it a lot. Best wishes ((%))

Congratulations! My husband and I got married at Little Church of The West 5 years ago. We had a great time. We stayed at the MGM and had our dinner ( 20 family members) at the Bucaneer Bay Club at Treasure Island. Everyone was so nice in Vegas. I will never forget going thru the lobby of the MGM Grand in my wedding dress. People stopped and cheered. Yelled Good Luck. People asked me if they could take my picture. I even had a little boy ( after walking thru the casino) call me snow white. I felt like I was a celebrity. At the restuarant we were even serenaded by four gentlman eating at the table next to us. Have an awesome time. Also if you have the time, splurge with Scenic Airlines for a plane ride to the Grand Canyon. Your 9 year old will love it.

Mon Ami Gabi's is nice. It's hard to get a table that has a good view of the fountains. (Requires a wait, no reservation.)

For $50 a head, you might just go to Prime and request a window seat fo rthe fountains. Or, eat in the Eifel Tower. I'd actually do that, as I think Prime might be slightly higher than $50 a head.
