Wedding in Maui
Hi,

We are planning a wedding in Maui, just the two of us. I would prefer a quiet spot to get married without a lot of people watching us. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tanya
|
Why, are you really ugly?

Why Maui if you want privacy, it's full of TOURISTS!!
|
Cute! No were not ugly...just thought a more secluded spot would be more romantic.
|
OK, so you're not ugly (says you). Then maybe you both have bad personalities? Bad breath? Cause most people consider a wedding a joyous occasion to be shared by friends and family.
|
Dont you people have anything better to do than be nasty to people that come to these boards for suggestions??Get a hobbie!!
Tanya, if you go to Maui.net, there is a listing if wedding locations that you can check out. Alot of them cater to just couples. Congratulations and good luck!!!

We're getting married - just the two of us - on Maui at the Four Seasons. All the big resorts do wedding planning for you. Go to weddingchannel.com. Lots of info there on planners and resorts in destinations wedding thread.

You'll also lots of people who don't want their weddings turned into a circus by their families. Previous poster must be living in a magical fantasy world where weddings are joyous occasions shared by family and friends. give me a break.

I've seen weddings on Maui on the Travel Channel where it's all done via helicopter so that would be private !
Best of luck for your day,
p.

Hi

Our son lived in Hawaii and picked Turtle Bay for their wedding. On Oahu but the most specatcular site on the island.

The Hilton has a beautiful wedding chappel on the ocean. Huge North Shore waves breaking at your feet.

They just completed a major renovation at this fairly isolated site

Ron
