Websites with hotel bargains

Planning a lot of vacations for 2002, including honeymoon, anybody know of any GOOD websites with actual bargains (colorado, hawaii, las vegas, etc)??
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the help! I'll be sure to check out all the sites you fodorites have posted!

The best domestic rates I have found are through quikbook.com. Additionally, you do not have to pay in full when making the reservation like you must with an Expedia.com "hot deal". I have had to cancel reservations through quikbook.com as well and have had no problems. There are many other sites (expedia.com, travelocity.com, discounthotels.com, hoteldiscount.com and more) but quikbook is my favorite. Lateroom.com also has excellent rates but only for last minute deals.

Wow, you waited all of 41 minutes before you got your panties in a bunch. Must be fun to vacation with you!

Hi frank. I vowed not to post here anymore because I was the victim of some vicious drive by postings recently, but I see that no one else is helping out, so here goes - Try quikbook.com, hotelkingdom.com, hoteldiscount.com, usahotelguide.com, travelnow.com, expedia.com, luxurylink.com and travelzoo.com. All of these at various times have great bargains (especially travelzoo, they consolidate bargains from many websites). The closer you search to the actual date you are leaving the better chance you have of getting a great deal. Good luck and congratulations!

Hey, figured it was a pretty easy question for most of you who frequent the site--thanks for the info Ruth.
As for you [email protected], you must lead a very exciting life.

Hi Frank,

For Las Vegas try www.lvrs.com ( Las Vegas Reservation Service) or try each of the hotel/casinos individually as they may run special offers.

Hi There:
Try orbitz.com or qixo.com..two of my favorites...Good luck!

I second luxurylink.com. Used them for Hawaii travel and have another trip planned soon. Not only are there travel auctions but exclusive hotel rates under "exclusives" and "best buys". Had no problem booking dates.

Frank, I learnt a lot from reading the answers to your question, so I thought I would bring this thread up to the top again, as maybe there is more you and I can learn from these knowledgable people. My own favourite is www.budgethotels. com, which is often a few dollars cheaper than the competition.... also look at choicehotels.com and hotelspree.com. I would second orbitz and expedia and travelzoo, and travelocity is lovely to use as you type in an address and they list hotels in order of distance from that address, complete with a map.
