Website that tracks hotel prices?

I thought I remembered someone mentioning recently that there's a website that will track hotel prices for you. It was in the context of someone asking about canceling a reservation and rebooking when prices drop. I thought Budget Queen might have posted about it but can't find any post on the subject. Am I dreaming?

just got off kayak.com and couldn't find anything about tracking hotel prices.

I even picked out 7 "Favorites" in the Hotel Section under Chicago, but no options at all about a check.

What am I doing wrong?

could it be
http://farecast.live.com/hotels

here's what it says on the site

"Rate Key
Our patent pending Rate Key™ indicates whether or not today's rate for a specific hotel is a deal. It compares the individual hotel's current rate found to its past rates observed for:

1. The same travel dates
2. Other travel dates on the same days of the week

A Rate Key™ "Deal" indicates today's rate is lower than past rates for that hotel."

Brahmama, I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Kayak tracks airfare on a chart for commonly flown routes, but to my knowledge doesn't track hotel prices. I like farecast but that's not what I thought was being described. I thought there was a site where you could input your info (dates, destination, hotel, price) and they would follow it and let you know if the price went down. I think I was dreaming.
