Webcams...

One of my favorite areas in the US is Mt St Helens. I have been quite a few times and I am still overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountain and the surreal beauty of the aftermath of the eruption.
Several years ago I found this webcam:

It changes minute by minute, season by season. I have a look everyday.
Do any of you have favorite stationary webcams that you visit frequently?

I love to watch:
http://www.kroooz-cams.com/canadaindex.html
It shows many webcams of ports, (and also of many cruiseships) all around the world. Nice way to see the weather too.

virginia Feb 9th, 2006 11:39 AM

or apparently, as i just went to the site, now for lots of ships to watch

LordBalfor Feb 9th, 2006 11:44 AM

Hmm, I see that this sites' hyperlink logic does not recognize the tilda character (~), resulting in only half of the Maui webcam link functioning properly and thus connecting folks to a different site than I intended. So... to get to the Maui webcams you should copy and paste the ENTIRE link to a new browser window. Don't just click on the highlighted hyperlink.

These are awesome!

Here's another great one: Pete's Pond in Botswana Africa, complete with sounds. Right this minute there's wild animals crossing.

Wow, these are awesome.
Thanks for sharing. If I can't visit the beach, I can at least see one real time!
