Webcams...
One of my favorite areas in the US is Mt St Helens. I have been quite a few times and I am still overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountain and the surreal beauty of the aftermath of the eruption.
Several years ago I found this webcam: http://www.kgw.com/livecams/popup_sthelens.html It changes minute by minute, season by season. I have a look everyday. Do any of you have favorite stationary webcams that you visit frequently? ~Laura |
I love to watch:
http://www.kroooz-cams.com/canadaindex.html It shows many webcams of ports, (and also of many cruiseships) all around the world. Nice way to see the weather too. |

http://www.pearlresorts.com/bora/main.asp Variety of Maui webcams: http://www.tiki.net/~rw/video/video.htm Waikiki webcam (live action and with music): http://www.co.honolulu.hi.us/cameras...ch/waikiki.htm Ken |
this will link you to cameras at the panama canal. early morning seems to be when the most ships go through.
this thread is a great idea. http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html |
or apparently, as i just went to the site, now for lots of ships to watch
|
Hmm, I see that this sites' hyperlink logic does not recognize the tilda character (~), resulting in only half of the Maui webcam link functioning properly and thus connecting folks to a different site than I intended. So... to get to the Maui webcams you should copy and paste the ENTIRE link to a new browser window. Don't just click on the highlighted hyperlink.

These are awesome!
Here's another great one: Pete's Pond in Botswana Africa, complete with sounds. Right this minute there's wild animals crossing. http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/n...a/wildcam.html |

VERY cool indeed! The sounds are great. Ken |
Wow, these are awesome.
Thanks for sharing. If I can't visit the beach, I can at least see one real time! |
My favorite webcam is the one pointed at my three week old granddaughter!
