weather in Washington in Sepember

We are considering staying in a b&b the last week in September. It does not have air conditioning. Is it necessary at that time of year?

Washington State or DC?

sorry, I mean Washington, D.C.

It depends on how much you mind hot weather. I would rather stay in hell than Washington in September - but then I don;t like hot weather.

Washington DC has very humid summers and september is not much better. It's almost like being in Florida and drippy too!!

If you want to enjoy your visit get an air-conditioned room - only my opinion but I've lived here all my life.

I found out that the b&b is air conditioned, but we like to walk and don't like humidity. How about the middle of October? Would that be a better time to visit?

Yes October would be beautiful. The leaves may just be starting to turn.

The end of September is usually very pleasant. There is a chance it could be hot, but it's unlikely that it will be very humid.
