Weather in Naples, Fl in late August?

Thinking about planning a vacation to Naples for late Aug/early Sept. Any idea if this is rainy season? Thanks!

It is hurricane season (that is when Andrew flew through there about 10 years ago. It also could be very hot.

There are rarely hurricanes that hit that area, but it is a possibility. The thing you can be very sure of, it'll be very hot and very humid. But the gulf water will be in the 80's and wonderful for swimming. When there is rain here (given a current several year drought), that's considered the rainy season, but a full day of rain is rare. Hope that helps.
I was in naples the first week in july, last year. seemed to rain everyday, from 2pm to 4pm. it was no BIG DEAL, because we just went to the beach earlier in the morning. Naples area is beautiful, and pricey

Oh, boy. Spent 2 weeks in Naples last August. Hot. Really hot. Hot as in hotter than hell!
That said, it was a lovely trip to a beautiful, beautiful part of Florida.
There were a couple of thundershowers at sunset, but they were refreshing and the kids had a ball watching the storm roll in.
Have a great trip!!
Jayce
