Weather in Hawaii

I will be leaving for Maui on Thursday. Received an email from The Westin and below my confirmation they have a map with the weather for my days there, and it shows rain every day. Is it really raining every day now, I thought June had good weather. Will also be in Honolulu and Big Island. Thank you for your help.

It rains somewhere in Hawaii every day - but usually it is a light (and very refreshing) shower that is over in a few minutes - the sun doesn't even go away (most of the time). Depending on where you're staying, though, you may have considerably more rain than other parts of the island. For example, Waikiki is sunnier and drier (for the most part) than Kaneohe which is on the other side of the island and has much more lush vegetation than does Waikiki. But if I were you, I'd call the hotel directly and ask if it will make you feel better.

Check this website http://www.hawaiiweathertoday.com/ It divides each island into microclimate areas and should give you a better idea of what to expect.

Prior to our trip to Maui, the forecast also showed rain everyday, and we freaked out. Once we were on Maui, it never rained. Relax, you'll have great weather. Enjoy your trip.
