Weather in Columbus/Cincinnati?

Thinking of spending a long weekend in and around the Columbus/Cincinnati area. What is the typical weather like during the middle of February?

Probably, in the mid/low 30's with a little snow on the ground. Or maybe a sleet/snowstorm that weekend; or maybe in the bitter 10's; or it might be sunny and in the 40's. Hope this helps ;-).

It's hard to figure out what you mean by ``area''. The two cities are about 2 hours apart, and there's not much in between.

Cold. Icy. Possibly snowy.

During early February 2007, pretty much all of Columbus was shut down for a few days with temps in the -5 to -10 range and 6 inches of snow. Granted that is unusal, but if you want to enjoy getting out and about, I would schedule the trip for late March or beyond, when the temps are a little warmer and snow is unlikely (not necessarily, we have had snow in April).

The reason we moved from the Columbus area was a February with windchill -20 and a foot of snow on the ground.

That said, I love Columbus (from afar in Florida!)

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like I should find somewhere else to go in February.
