Weather in Arizona at Christmas
Hello--we are traveling to Sedona for a week over Christmas--could someone please give me an idea as to what the weather will be like at this time. Also if you have any info about a resort called Sedona Vacation Club/Los Abrigados --that would be great as well.

We go to Sedona frequently. Stayed at Los Abrigados recently for a conference
my husband attended. It is a resort as
well as a timeshare place. Location is good - next door to Tlaquepaque, a very
quaint outdoor mall with shops, galleries and restaurants. Restaurants at Los Abrigados aren't bad. But we were
very unhappy with our accomodations. The room was very dark and very musty. It reminded me of a college dorm room.
Other attendees at the conference also complained about their rooms. I would highly recommend either Enchantment Resort (located in Boynton Canyon with
spectacular views all around you, a fairly new spa, very good restaurant)
or L'Auberge de Sedona (located along
Oak Creek - more of a woodsy feel, great
restaurant). Both places can be a bit
pricey. Sedona also has many good bed and breakfast places. I think you can
do so much better than Los Abrigados. Would also recommend Heartline Cafe. Very nice restaurant in town for either
lunch or dinner.

thank you all for your quick replies. Uma--was the place you stayed at on Portal Lane? I think there are two places --Los Abrigados Resort & Spa
and Los Abrigados Lodge on the north highway. hmm--we are in the Resort and Spa-it is a timeshare deal so hopefully it is ok.

I'm assuming it was the resort. Just make sure they give you a room that is bright and not musty. Everyone's experience is different. Hope yours will be a good one. They do have good restaurants there. Would still recommend you go to Enchantment Resort for lunch one day. You will need to make reservations ahead of time for their Yavapai Room. And try Heartline Cafe, as well. Sedona is a magical place.
