Wearing A Cast for Universal Studios Florida

Bummer!

I just tore some ligaments in my foot, and now I am wearing an inflatable walking cast. We are going to do Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Blizzard Beach and maybe Sea World next week. I'm supposed to wear the cast all the time except when I'm sleeping, although I think I could manage without it for a few minutes here and there.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can manage this? I'm in good shape etc., but I have a feeling I'm going to be worn out before I even reach the front gate. Ideas?

I looked at the Universal guide for people with disabilities, but it didn't say much about access to rides through special lines and suchlike.

I believe that many of the rides prohibit casts.

Go to customer relations and get a wheelchair. They also have motorized ones but they rent out fast. That will put you in the special handicapped line with significantly less ride waits. I'm pretty sure handicapped at Universal goes in the express lane.

If you want the motorized wheelchairs you need to get there when the park opens.

I agree, get a wheelchair. It will benefit you and your entire party (with shorter waits in line).

Go to guest services at the park. Bring along some documentation of your ailment (ie: Dr.'s note). They will issue you a disability pass. I also agree with getting a wheelchair.
