Then who -- oh, probably Noah because he only has opinions and never really travels. Then we can pick on other people "we" don't like. Isn't this getting to be a bit too exclusive? Aren't we being petty and demeaning? Give us a break! Let freedom of speech and opinion reign!

I don't know, and don't care, who AMS is, but I am one of a growing number of people who is getting tired of all of your obsessive posts about travel agents. We're all adults, or most of us anyways, so we can look after ourselves. Just because someone gives an opinion doesn't mean they are a travel agent. I'm not an agent, but I've been to Hawaii for over twice in the last year and a half and feel that I can answer some peoples questions. If you don't like it, go somewhere else.

This is why I LOVE the internet & the lively discussions that take place! Long live curmudgeons by the way, I am hoping to live long enough to be one!

I "almost" didn't respond. I will keep my response to one sentence. Scan the Asia, Latin America, U.S., Canada, and especially Europe sites, and you will find hundreds of regular, hopefully helpful posts from the past 2+ years.

See what I mean? Predictable. Woodlief is someone who likes to argue, always bites at the bait dangled in front of him and has to have the last word on everything. How many times have you seen him vow not to post anything else on a subject, yet there he is again, back in the middle of it? Too many times to count. <BR> <BR>Haven't seen any travel tips from him, but if there's a ridiculous post full of people arguing and name-calling over something idiotic, he'll be there repeatedly, you can bet on it. <BR> <BR>Go help your wife with the housework or something.

Gotta defend the wood and leaf-meister on this one. He posts frequently and his posts on the Euro site in particular are as informative as anyone's (except AMS's Florida fun and fantasy facts). <BR>So how 'bout it, "longtime", you mudslingin' hooligan. Reveal thyself and commence to post something of use to the rest of us, rather than hypocritically criticizing someone for not posting travel info, while busily eating up bandwidth not posting travel info.

Where have you been Longtime? Dan has posted lots of advice on this forum and if he's ever involved in an argument, it's to add some humour and lighten it up, as he did here. Seems you're the one trying to stir things up. Anyway, I wonder if there is anyone named Claire Voyant. And who is this mysterious "AMS" Oust is talking about?

The author of this post should try booting itself out of Fodors. It should keep that crackpot head busy for a long time!

AMS is the bigoted loon who originated the "Florida Is Still Unsafe" thread. She/he surfaces every couple of weeks at random 4 a.m.'s to revive the thread when she/he hasn't gotten enough attention lately. The best way to get rid of AMS is not to respond, not to call attention just to IGNORE. <BR> <BR>And leave Dan Woodlief alone -- he's very helpful with certain kinds of advice and his opinions never slip over the edge to the junk-yard-dog calibre of some of the scrappy people here.
