Because we will stay for 5 weeks our bags are almost full and we decided to just buy a suit for my husband when we get there. He will have to attend official meetings and we are planning on eating out in some nice places so suit is needed. Can anyone recommend a place where we should go shopping for a suit in Manhattan? Is it possible to buy a suit for under $300?

Syms - 2 locations. In the financial district - 42 Trinity Place; in midtown, 400 Park Avenue (54th Street)

Todays Man is a good choice, also with a location on 6th Ave and 19th Street. Also consider Mo Ginsburgs on 5th Avenue and 21st Street - look for banner.

Yep, Today's Man or Syms would be your best shot, although if you're lucky you might find a deal at one of the department stores like Lord & Taylor on 5th and 39th.
