wdw transportation

Want to know if anyone has had any experiences with any of the transportation companies that go from Orlando airport to Disney hotels ? Would it be less expensive to just rent a car? thanks.

We used Tiffany Town cars last year and it worked out great.

They met us at the luggage area with a sign with our name( actually I had them use my granddaughters name).

Although we used them to take us directly to our hotel, they will make a 20 min grocery store stop at no additional charge.

At check out time, they were waiting outside our hotel for the return trip.

I'd definitely use them again.

We also used Tiffany, last May, and just as Dick said, they were great. I had compared them to using the Mears Shuttle for 4 passengers and the cost was about the same but coming in late at night and not wanting to make additional stops it was well worth it. I got the recommendation also from the Disney message boards that are just priceless for the wealth of information and tips. If you want to save $5, go to their website and print out the coupon too, www.tiffanytowncar.com. I saved their business card for next trip, their # is 888-838-2161. I paid $75 to go from the airport to the Beach Club Resort (within Disney). Best of luck!

Go to www.disboards.com and go to the "Transportation forums". They can tell you all you need to know.

We took a taxi. $50 for two of us to the Wilderness Lodge. Cheaper than most options out there, and no advance reservations or other stops!

We've used the Miers shuttle before and it's fine. Depending on how many people you have in your group, it may be cheaper to just use a car service though.
