WDW specific ticket price question

Our travel agent was going to include Magic Your Way premium tickets. But after checking WDW online I was much better off to buy them that way (saved nearly a third on what I was quoted).

My question is, should I buy them online or just buy them from our hotel (Quality suites Main Gate)on arrival? Do Hotels have a mark up or do they sell them at WDW prices?

Thanks so much.

I'm almost positive that your hotel has to sell them for whatever Walt Disney World sells them for.

Only Disney will discount their tickets and the hotels can't mark them up. Hotels only sell them for the convenience.

Buy them online and pick them up at the park gates. They offer a discount for buying them on their website for multiple day passes and you won't get it if you are not staying at a Disney hotel.

Just to clarify b/c GoTravel and I were posting at the same time. Buying them online before you arrive is cheaper than buying them at your hotel (whatever hotel it is) when you arrive. Disney hotels themselves sometimes offer a discount tickets and room package but if you aren't staying on property, buy them online and pick them up at the gate. It's very easy.

Go to ticketmania.com. They are legit and sell at a small discount.

Thanks one & all. Online it is, plus its one less thing to pay for while away.

If you're a AAA member, they offer a discount, as well. I believe it used to less than Disney's online price, but now that Disney has changed the whole ticket pricing method, I'm not sure. Might be worth checking out.

When we bought our tickets this summer, WDW's advance purchase discount was better than the discounted price at ticketmania.com. Check and see. But the great thing about ticketmania is that they will have the tickets delivered right to your hotel on the day you arrive.
