Watertown/Milwaukee WI

Hi,
Going to Watertown WI on company business in Mid Sept. Will be there over 1 weekend. Haven't seen much special to do. 6 flags is okay, but if you've seen one, well.... The Brewers and Packers aren't home that weekend either. I noticed some casinos, but they look like a 3 hour drive. Looking for something to do that I can't do elswhere. Any ideas? I really don't have anything particular in mind.

There's not much in Watertown, but the Milwaukee area is not too far away (about an hour).
Take a drive up to Holy Hill in Hubertus. The fall colors may be starting by then, and the view is awesome.
Go to town for a great ethnic meal. Try Karl Ratzsch's for German fare, Three Brothers for Serbian, Lake Park Bistro for French, Bartolotta's in Wauwatosa for Northern Italian.
There is a casino in Milwaukee--Potowatomi; ask for directions, it's hard to find.
For info on what's happening check out
onwisconsin.com

Since you mention sports, the University of Wisconsin has home football games at Camp Randall Stadium on Sept. 7, 14 and 21. It's a truly great college football venue in terms of excitement, a great band, enthusiastic fans and the whole college football scene. You can try this website to see if there happen to be any single seats available:

http://www.uwbadgers.com/

If not, show up at the game early and find yourself somebody unloading tix. (Since it won't be a Big 10 opponent, you shouldn't get nicked too badly).

Now here's something you can do in Milwaukee that you cannot do ANYWHERE else...
Ask where the bubbler is.
And get an answer.
