Watersound, Florida
 

Our family (we have two teenage boys) is heading to Watersound, Florida in a few weeks. Looking for recommendations of places to eat, must see beaches/towns besides where we are staying, and activities. Our main goal is to hit the beach and the pool and R&R!

Any input would be appreciated!!

Watersound is in a great location! When we were there last it rained every day ugh!! Def rent or bring bikes and bike along 30a. Get donuts early am from Charlie’s truck parked there on the square at Alys Beach (which is beautiful to ride/walk around). Check out the shops in Seaside where the Truman show was filmed. My teen girls got henna tattoos at a bookshop there. Pickles is right on the water there...convenient lunch spot. Near Destin is dolphin/whale watching, fishing charters, outlet shopping, state park, bowling, golf, etc. We prefer the quiet beach/pool life, cooking at the house and enjoying the resort! Beautiful beaches there!!

I think Apalachicola sounds interesting but I've never been there.
