Watches
I know that in many places with access to Asian goods, many high-quality "knock-off" products are available, especially high-end watches, and ladies accessories. Is this the case in Hawaii? If so, where should I look?

The best place to buy any watch of any kind, any brand is off Ebay, you won't get them any cheaper in Hawaii.

Today I bought this watch at TJ Maxx for 199.00
http://www.overstock.com/Jewelry-Wat...ID=prod2076422 But normally we buy luxury watches off eBay. You just have to be careful. We usually go for watches that are not generally popular with the 'knock off' producers. |
I bought a knock-off watch in Italy.
The watch looked (and was marked) a Tag. When the watch stopped working within a month, I took it to a watchmaker to see if it could be repaired. He told me that the mechanism was pure junk. I still have the watch that looks real and tells the correct time....albeit only twice a day. Since then...I bought a real Tag. |
funny this subject comes up in here, but beware...i USE TOO buy Tissots online and then had a problem w it and got nowhere w the seller so i contacted Tissot directly...TISSOT, TAG ETC DO NOT WARRANTY ANY PRODUCT BOUGHT ONLINE...although they are all genuine, they are not covered by their warranty as they were not purchased thru an authorized retailer... i do know you were askin about knockoffs, but i wanted to save anybody trouble buy purchasing them online...this went on w me and tissot for months and got to the higher ups and still they didnt warranty it...

There are some authorized dealers online... you just have to make sure they are and odds are the prices will not be as low with authorized dealers.
