Washington Jefferson Hotel, Park West Studios in New york. Are they OK for two ladies?
 

I looked at these accomodation on the web and the price is really cheap so I am wondering. <BR>Has anyone stayed in those accomodation? Could you give me some information how it is please?

I've seen the Washington Jefferson and wouldn't recommend it. I think it is sort of like an extended residence for vagrants or short term (as in hours) hotel.

What location are they in NYC? I might be able to tell you about the neighborhoods as I work in NYC in live outside the city. <BR>

this hotel's address is 51th/8th.

Hi, Min. The neighborhood around 51st and 8th Streets is slowly undergoing some positive renovation. It is on the edge of what we call "Hell's Kitchen" with many mom and pop stores and restaurants of various ethnicities, however, it is not a neighborhood that has attraction for tourists or even many New Yorkers. Since you are two women who will not be familiar with the city, I would advise staying closer to some of the more popular and busy areas of the city for your comfort and safety. As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and if the accomodations are extremely cheap in a city like NYC, beware! Feel free to e-mail me directly if you need more info. <BR>
