Washington DC to Baltimore Airport
Can anyone tell me the best way to get from Dupont Circle area to the Baltimore airport without a car? And, about how long will it take to get there mid-morning on a Monday?
Thanks |
Take the red line to Union Station where you can catch the MARC train. That will take you right to the airport.
It will take about 15 minutes to get to Union Station and another hour to get to BWI. |
Otherwise you can take a 60 dollar cab ride. One of the Washington Flyer cabs.

On Monday-Fri (not a holiday, right?) I also would take MARC train. The "PENN LINE", btw. The BWI rail station has frequent free shuttles that bring you from the rail station to the airport terminal. If there are 2 of you, purchase a "round trip" ticket & save, as they're really 2 tickets that can be used in either direction.
Another choice is to take red line to Ft Totten, change to Green Line & take it to Greenbelt. From there you take the B30 bus that brings you right to the airport terminal. Get a tranfer pass when you enter Metro & the bus will cost $1.15 vs $2 regular fare. Check http://rideguide.wmata.com for times & fare. |
Thank you! This was exactly what I needed.
