Washington DC in June
Have a work conference to at W Hotel & my 80 y/o family member wnats to isit while I am in town,
The W Hotel is sold out as is the Willard, JW Marriott and the Westin nearby. (There is some sort of other event in town per Hotel)
Was wondering if any anyone has stayed at Capital Hilton recently as I found a room @ $149.00..which seems like a bargain for that area around the White House...just want to make sure it is a decent place and close to the W Hotel...
Also any recommendationd for a limo tour of Wash DC monuments...that may be handicapped accesible for an 80/yo with knee problems & a cane?

If that's the Hilton on 16th Street NW, I'd definitely take the booking if it's cancelable. Realistically you're probably not going to do better than that rate in that part of downtown in June, especially if some of the other hotels are already booked up. June is tricky in DC.
I haven't stayed there but I stay near there frequently. It's is in a great location and the hotel itself is fine. Not the W or Williard or Westin standard, just a big impersonal convention type hotel. That's the hotel where John Hinckley tried to take out Ronald Reagan.

Helps alot..I booked a handicapped room and an adjoing reg room. At least he can call the front desk if he needs help while I am at my conference at the W.
Anyone pls any recs for limo private tour co? He can't get on off a bus or coach so was thinking a custom SUV would work..

I have no personal knowledge of the following limo company, but it comes recommended by Darrell6t on Trip Advisor (and he knows a LOT about D.C.). I don't know that they provide any tour information (e.g. tour guide) but they do provide private limos.
