Somebody posted about this earlier today. They are adding an extra floor but I can't tell yet what the purpose will be (rooms, gym/pool, restaurant, etc) because it looks to be in Tyvec stage still. I wonder if they are done with the inside. It still looks like some protective sheets are on the room windows. The outside still has fence around it.
I am very interested to watch the finishing up over the next two weeks. I wonder if it will be done. I can see the hotel from an empty office near my desk. I think I will ask to see a room when it is reopened. |
Excellent. The college hockey finals are in DC this year in early April. If Michigan is in it, I know some friends that are going. I will e-mail this to them now. I wonder what the cancellation policy is?

Well, I just went on the website, put in the Travelzoo "Special" code and got $216.14 as the average price per night for the eight nights I am going to be in DC.
